Competitive Committee Members,

We will be holding our next competitive committee meeting on Thursday October 15th at the Coventry Community Center starting at 6:00pm sharp.  The meeting will last only one (1) hour as we have the competitive coaches meeting starting at 7:00pm.  The following issues need to be discussed and /or reviewed:

  • Treasurers Report
  • Status of Fall 2009 Competitive Season
  • Status of Indoor 2009/2010 Competitive Pre-season
  • Review Training Criteria for U8 and U10 age levels
  • Review Practice Facility Status
  • Propose positions to support the Competitive Director, Registrar and Treasurer
  • Coordinators of each age level/gender to generate player participation & assist in identifying proposed coaches
  • Secretary
  • Spring / Fall Superliga coordinators for team formulations, tracking game changes & game score reporting
  • Tryout Coordinator for Fall & Indoor Seasons
  • Event Coordinator(s) (SRI Festival or other)
  • Referee Coordinator (Spring 2010 and Fall 2010)
  • Uniform Selection Committee (new uniforms required for Indoor 2010/2011 season)
  • U8 Fall Indoor Jamboree Coordinator
  • New England Revolution Coordinator
  • Initiate search for next Competitive Director for February 2010 election

I have also copied the Fall competitive coaches and indoor competitive coaches on this e-mail to notify them of the meeting and to urge participation at all levels. I would ask all head coaches to forward this e-mail to their assistant coaches to inform them of the meeting.

The homework assignment for all current competitive committee members is to bring one (1) non-member of the committee to the meeting.
